One of my all time favourite romantic wedding bouquets of Chantilly Roses and Freesias is what Kirstii and Chanel chose for their wedding on 14 November at the Indooroopilly Golf Club. I have produced this bouquet many times and I never fail to love it even more each time I have the privilege of designing it . The cream and ivory rose petals were carried through to the reception tables where we scattered a carpet of both the Chantilly and cream rose petals around the hurricane lamps on each table. Ben Clarke from Ben Clarke Photography photographed the day for the happy couple.

MUSICAL FARIES
Apart from my love of designing and producing wedding bouquets I had the special privilege of creating floral headpieces for the Silvan Strings Quartet to wear at a gig in which they provided some background music as "faries in the garden" for "The Botanique Fashion Parade" held at the Botanical Gardens at Mt Coot tha. Due to the impending storm the venue was changed from the Japanese Garden to the auditorium at the last minute. (The gardens would have been more suitable for the faries)

The bridesmaids dressed in black carried the same the red and cream coloured rose bouquets. Darren matched Katrina by wearing a cream rose buttonhole and the groomsmen wore red rose buttonholes. The wonderful Stew from Stewart Ross Photography photographed the day for them whilst Anne Campbell the Marriage Celebrant performed the official part of the day.

ORCHID LEIS
Saturday 3 October at the Bouvelard Gardens at Indooroopilly saw me working once again with the wonderful Marriage Celebrant Anne Campbell. White Singapore Orchid leis were the special feature of this wedding to celebrate the grooms Samoan heritage. The leis were distributed by the groom and bride to family members after the wedding . Aimee carried a beautiful bouquet of open white and ivory roses and white and cream lissianthius. The bridesmaids carried small bouquets of several shades of pink roses which teamed beautifully with their black dresses. The bride and grooms daughter stole the show with her "magic wand"of mini spray pink and ivory roses and her matching flower halo.

ROSE WEDDING BOUQUET
Saturday September 26 was the day Susan and Tu chose for their wedding at St James Church Coorparoo. As Susan arrived Brisbane was just recovering from the previous days dust storms and the wind had blown up again. Blue was the theme for the day. She chose a beautiful white gown with a long blue tied ribbon. The blue bow theme was carried through to her wedding bouquet of white roses and small blue bows. Her bridesmaids instead of carrying bouquets chose the increasingly popular wrist corsages to match their ice blue dresses.

CALLY LILLY WEDDING BOUQUETS
On Sunday September 20 I had the privilege again of working with the very talented Juanita from Broderick Photography. This time dancers Jasmine and Callum chose Mt Tamborine for their wedding. Calla Lily Wedding Bouquets were the theme. Jasmine carried a white rose and calla lilly trailing bouquet and the girls vibrant orange calla lilly bridesmaid bouquets. The flowergirls had 2 shades of pink calla lilies. I was able to get a few very small white calla lilies for Jasmine to have placed in her hair to add to the "Audrey Hepburn" theme. We carried the calla lilies though to the floral centre pieces which were added to tall vases with twisted willow and battery operated LED light again. Very spectacular at night. The ceremony had tall bamboo floral centre pieces as there feature in the rain forest.

ARUM LILLY WEDDING BOUQUETS
What a busy day Saturday 29 August was. Firstly the delivery to Aliesha for her wedding to Brad and then it was off down to the Bay for the wedding of Linda and Paul at the Courthouse Restaurant. This time arum lilies were the choice for Linda's wedding bridal bouquets. A beautiful teardrop shape wedding bouquet for Linda was complimented by bridesmaid bouquets of arum lilly arm sheath bouquets tied with purple organza ribbon overlaid with purple beading to match their dress style. The reception flowers were tall vases of twisted willow with LED lights and several arum lilies complimented by mirror bases and tea lights. These beautiful images were taken by Melanie of Melanie Rose Photography

BLUE WEDDING FLOWERS
Saturday August 29 saw Brad and Aiesha marry at Springfiled Lakes. Aliesha wanted to add touches of the right shade of blue to her wedding bridal bouquet. In endeavoring to find the shade saw me"spray dying" mini roses as the finishing touch. We combined these with white asiatic lilies and white roses in her wedding bouquet and that of her bridesmaids.
